Once upon a time long ago in a place far away there formed a natural glass called "the Tektite."  It was an almost magical glass unlike anything Sir Darwin had ever seen before, truly a superior specimen which Merlin himself could not have forged.  It came to pass that there lived a wicked people who were only interested in meteorites and were very mean to the tektites and their followers.  They used the golden luster of the meteorite to blind all the innocents to the evils of their base actions.  A dark cloud fell upon the land and a woe befell the people.

Then one bright day a hero arose amongst the tektite people.  He was bolde and outspoken and a true Champion of the Realm.  His quest was to searchth all the lands and recover the "Holy Glass." He would venture foreth into the forests, the sands, the shrubbery, and the steppes to save the Holy Tektites from the savages of neglect.

He was only the first of many heroes to come.  To aid this noble founder of the new enlightened age in his quest he enlisted a Knightly Order of Tektite Protectors. Battles were fought.  Kingdoms came and went. Generations passed.  And the Order of the Tektites grew strong. These knights of the tektites would gather yearly at the round table at the bequest of the strongest of their order, whereupon they would deliberate the trials and tribulations of the past year.

Thus it has come to pass that this very day we have a powerful order of "The Lords of the Tektites," forged of blood, ships, mighty thunderbolts and other magical elements.  Verily ye all, behold the signs of the power they pass down through the endless march of the ages!!
